Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how to delete it.

Twin Draw lets two people share a drawing canvas in real time. We collect only what's needed for that to work, and nothing more.
What we collect
- EmailUsed for authentication.
- Account identifierThe id your account is filed under, which is what ties your drawings and your pair to you.
- Display nameOptional. Shown to your paired partner, nobody else.
- DrawingsStrokes and canvas images, synced to your paired partner.
- Reactions and repliesThe emoji or the one line you send back.
- CityPicked from a fixed list, to work out the distance between you. No GPS, and we never ask for location access.
- Time zoneYour device's UTC offset, so your partner sees your local time.
- Sleep hoursThe window you set yourself, so the app knows when you'd rather not be disturbed.
- Shared datesYour anniversary and your next reunion, if you choose to fill them in.
- ActivityWhen you were last in the app, and whether you're drawing right now.
- Device token (FCM)To push canvas updates to your home-screen widget.
- Pair codeA 6-character code linking two accounts.
We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your phone number, photos from your library, or an advertising identifier. There is no tracking, no third-party analytics and no advertising in the app.
This website
Everything above describes the app. This marketing site counts page views, using Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, keeps no persistent identifier for you, and cannot follow you to other sites — which is why there is no cookie banner here. It tells us how many people read a page, nothing about who they are, and it is entirely separate from your Twin Draw account.
Where it lives
Your data is stored on Google Firebase, in the EU region. The one exception is push notifications: to reach your device at all, a notification has to pass through Apple's servers, so the fact that a drawing is waiting for you travels that way.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. We have no retention schedule beyond that, and nothing here is kept for analytics or archived once you delete it.
Who can see it
Only you and your paired partner. That's the whole point. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, ever, for any reason. Google hosts it for us and can be compelled to disclose it by law, as any host can, and whoever maintains the app can reach the database to keep it running; past that, nobody.
Deleting your data
From inside the app, open the menu and tap Delete account. This permanently erases your account, your drawings, and your pair link. It can't be undone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have it erased. Most of it you can change yourself in the app — your display name, city, sleep hours and shared dates are all editable, and Delete account covers erasure. For anything else, write to us at the address below. If you are not happy with how we answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
